Feline Infectious Peritonitis,
a fatal desease of young and sometimes old cats, caused by coronaviruses which leads to
death.
In the wet form of FIP the abdomen is distended because of exudate, sometimes also the
chest may contain fluid.
In the dry form, which is much more difficult to diagnose, the liver, the kidneys, the
eyes and the brain may be involved. The liver may show white spots, and granulomas in the
kidneys may be found. |
